Drava Region, health resorts and recreation

The Drava region is located northeast from our capital Ljubljana. Here starts the world of Panonia.

This Region is very flat, with very little mountains, small hills are here welcome because of the many castle that could be built in the Turkish invasions.

Also the region is known for is natural source of thermal water. Thermal spas are built. They are excellent for health benefits and also a pleasure for young and old.

So in this region we will visit Mežiška Valley, Mislinjska Valley, Upper Dravska Valley, Lower Dravska Valley, Maribor, Dravsko polje, Slovenska Bistrica, At Dravinja, Haloze, Ptuj and Ormož. Shall we begin? Yes let us do this.
